I have just attempted to print the PDF files for the Lisa Hill episode and find I am unable to open them at all.
This has never happened to me before so I am wondering if there is something you need to do on your end?
Hi Annette - I've just downloaded the PDF on my home computer (a Mac) and have printed a page. Try rebooting your computer to see if that helps.
Thank you,Sandra. I did close down following your suggestion. I was able to see the PDFs and downloaded them. However, my printer is now saying unable to print as the file is corrupt. I also have a Mac and an HP printer. Not sure what to do at this point. Obviously the file is not corrupt or you would not have been able to print.
I've heard there has been a wee glitch on the internet, but it seems like it's been rectified. I have the PDF printing as I write this. 🤞that works for you! Let me know, please.
I have just finished the warping, threading and sleying for Scarf 1 (season 9 episode 4) on my 4 shaft 6 treadle loom. The tie up has me confused - it shows 7 columns. How do I tie it on my six treadles?
Hi Sandra,
For the first scarf, the last treadle on the right, the plain weave 2/4 treadle isn't used for the first scarf so you are good to go to tie up the 6 treadles. The 2/4 treadle will be used for the second scarf. If I recall, it was put there for scarf #1 in case anyone wanted to do plain weave hem but Lisa mentions on page 7 that she doesn't use hemstitching on DDW because the 2-layer structure allows you to twist the fringes. If you wanted to do hemstitching, you can tie up your 2/4 treadle, hemstitch, and then retie it to the 6th treadle.
I have a question. I only have a 12 dent reed and an 8 dent reed. Does anyone know what I should do with the sleying process in this case?
