Hi, I have two questions. I am weaving a towel using 3 different twill structures .I used a point twill threading and treadled for the different twill variations and used basket weave treadling for the hem. I also used a floating selvedge and found it difficult to use two repeats for each pick of basket weave. what is the best way to treadle basket weave if I didn't put it in the threading?
Also I found when beaming on the warp (back to front) I had extra threads that obviously did not tie on. I think I may have done something wrong when changing thread colors on the warping board because the pattern I get weaving does not look like it should from my Fiberworks drawdown.Could this be the explanation? Look at my attached image with each section identified.
Thanks, Diane
