S4-Episode 7 - Twill & Basket Weave go on a date
are the weaving drafts available for the towels shown? I think there is a kit (at least it looks similar) in the shop but it is out of stock
The weaving draft for those towels is in the Picnic Basket Tea Towel Kit. They are stunning aren’t they! You can can leave your email on the description page of the kit asking to be notified when it’s back in stock. Enjoy weaving them!
I'm trying to get caught up on all of the samples (which really constitute all of the learning for me) but for Season 4 I can only find PDFs which include pages 1, 2, and 3 and then pages 15 and 16. Not finding the intervening pages anywhere. Am I missing something or was there an error in numbering???
Thanks for any help anyone can provide.
Linda
Hi Linda, pages 15 and 16 are meant to be added to the package on Twills in Episode 1. You aren’t missing anything and there wasn’t an error in numbering. Just additional information on Twills for your binder.
Thank you so much for your reply. I will put those pages where they belong in my notebook for future reference.
Where can I find the draft for those beautiful baby blankets?
Hi Catherine - Jane describes the threading sequence she used at the 10.10-minute mark of the video. There isn't a draft for these blankets but she does give all the information you need to make your own draft and weave the 2 blankets. The project for this episode is the tea towels and there is detailed information for those. Hope this helps.
Hi Sandra , I know, I was lazy. Yes, I should do the math by my own 😊 But do you know if the sett was 12 or higher? ("Very drapey for twill "as described in your product information)Would save me sampling as I have to order 8/4 over the border and never worked with it before. So I could do the calculations before and only had to order once as I plan to make a longer warp.
Hi back at you Catherine. 😉 I just watched the beginning of the video again and just past the 10 minute mark - Jane says the sett for the blankets is 12 epi. Enjoy planning and weaving the “blankies”.
Wow, my ears must be much inferior than yours, thanks a lot! If there wasn't the Atlantik between us you would get a bunch of flowers😘
Glad I could help - I have to look at the videos as well. We have over 60 videos full of information now and my brain is past holding that much information in it 🤣 Happy weaving!
I'm a bit confused: have I missed a video dealing ONLY with basket weave? - 'Twill & basket weave go on holiday' appears to assume that you already know about it., but I'm sure that it will have been dealt with on its' own before this........
Basket Weave is covered at the beginning of the episode as an alternate structure to PW when PW isn’t possible. Maybe Twill & Basket Weave went on a “blind” date and are learning about each other now 😂
Started the first of my blankies. I will be very happy when the apron rod reaches the cloth beam. It is my widest project so far and I have to adapt my technique as my thread often gets caught by the rod.
Without Fiberworks I for sure would have made a mistake in the threading draft. So many things to consider in order to make everything symmetrical.

Thanks for this nice inspiration!
Catherine this is beautiful...great job on the difficult threading!! Love the colors you chose.
Thanks Cheryl, just started the next one, rosepath in rose.
