So many interesting combinations. It seems like a really simple lesson but I really enjoyed building a library of patterns. Got tired of the charcoal and cream scheme so experimented with stone, then colours from season 2. My unexpected take away…. A strong graphic can sometimes be an issue when choosing thread colours on hems. I ended up hemming most of my towels with 2 different threads on each hem so I didn’t have one side blend and the other stand out.

Here are my samples and some pictures of patterns I found particularly pleasing. Sometimes hard to choose whether I like the “right” or “wrong” side more. All done in combinations of 2/2, 1/3 (or 3/1) and tabby.

I love "color", however I was amazed at how much I enjoy the Charcoal and Natural color combination. It was also an instant favorite amongst my friends! It is stylish, classy, and allows the weave to create the patterns and textures. I will definitely use more color combinations similar to this in the future!
