I am wanting to start a project from Season 6 and have never worked with blocks and profiles before. I’m understanding the concepts, but I am struggling with interpreting the threading draft on page 7 of the Season 6 Episode 7 handout. I cannot reconcile the threading instructions with the warping sequence notes for the colors. It’s the x2s and x7 part that is confusing to me. Nothing adds up I’m hitting a bit of a wall on this. Any suggestions you can make I would appreciate.

I got it! My brain is working much better this morning. I’ve been weaving too many rag rugs recently and totally spaced on what “warping sequence” means. Once the warp is wound and on the loom, the color changes will be there for you. The brackets now add up! Thanks so much for the jump start this morning.

How long are the floats on these towels? I'm doing a takeoff on towel#2 (ABAABACDCCDC threading) and am just starting to weave it. Where I have 2 A blocks together (really just an extra long A but it made more sense for me to separate it into 2 'sections'), it looks like I'm going to have a very long float. And with boucle , that doesn't sound like a good idea, even with the tabby background. Am I doing something wrong or is it going to be ok?
