I am wondering how to enlarge just a section of an overshot pattern. For example, if I was to make the blooming leaf not a repeat and just extend from edge to edge? Could I just scale up the warp and warp it in something as big as mop cotton and use cloth strips as the pattern weft? Or do repeat each thread during threading to build up scale?? I dont' know...
My dream would be to be able to make a section of overshot visible as a huge graphic
Maybe this doesn't make sense?
