I reached out to JST about the Venne 16/2 linen that seems to be back ordered. I believe it was Ginette that suggested Venne 22/2 cottolin as a substitute. I'm glad to say that I have some in my stash. I was putting the warp in my raddle for the Canvas weave sampler and runner at 14 inches across and thought it seemed thinner than the 16/2 linen. On your site it looks like 16/2 linen is 2700 yds/pound and the cottolin is 3000 yds/pound. The Canvas weave sampler is woven at 16 epi - should I go to 18 epi if subbing out with the cottolin? If I do, wouldn't I need to re-figure the width in the raddle?
