I'm a newbie and jumping around listening videos. I have woven towels and scarves. I decided to try the Huck Lace pattern with Mountain View colors. I am having difficulty understanding the pattern in that I am thinking the warp sequence says I start with12 Tumeric threads, then 81 Dusty Blue, etc. Then when I look at the heddles I see (1,4,) repeated 15 times or 30 threads, (1,2,1,2,1,4,3,4,3,4)-repeated 4 times or 40 threads. This tells me that the Tumeric goes through only 12 threads of the first 30 threads of 1,4 count? and the Dusty Blue starts but doesn't with any specific sequence. Am I reading it right that I just follow the numbers, i,e. 12 Tumeric, 81 Dusty Blue, 8 Tumeric and keep going with the way I'm reading the pattern.

What do I use for the weft colors?? sequence?

And as far as the blocks and version #1,2,3 & 4 I am totally lost - How do I find help reading this?

I’d at least start watching and reading the beginning of that season on laces. Season 5?

You may still need to watch earlier episodes but at minimum, Jane does discuss blocks, units, and I think profile drafts.

It’s been awhile but off hand, Jane slowly introduces the concepts like building blocks.
