That's the trouble with Show and Tell - it's always inspirational but doesn't give you the details on how to weave the items Jane is sharing with us. Usually the items are woven by weavers other than Jane. Because Jane wove this item, you should have all the information you need to create that scarf from the episode. It might be fun to weave the tea towels which will give you the knowledge and practice to create that scarf.

Just jumping in. Wondering is it the sample piece you mentioned above at 6:28 on the Show & Tell? If so, on the video at the loom at the 21:40, Jane is weaving and treadling the framers. She's framing one of the blocks, A. At that video timestamp is how she has her treadles set up, she's showing the piece of paper and has her loom set up with 12 treadles. The framers are tied to 4 treadles as 1/5 together, 2/6 together, 3/7.., 4/8. If you don't have 12 treadles, tie up your scarf with tie-up #2 on the towel PDF and it should give you a similar look. Your framers will also be tied 1/5, 2/6, 3/7, 4/8 and treadle those 4 times (16 picks from what I can see) to frame the squares.

On that sample piece by the way, the small strips in the warp are A blocks so they are threaded on shafts 1,2,3,4 and the squares are the B blocks and those are threaded 5,6,7,8.
