Dear JST friends: I have three looms - one of each counterbalance, jack and countermarche. I love them and would like to be more proficient at translating tie ups from one to the other. I've taken the Mother of All Tie Ups for Canvas Weave Huck and Swedish Lace and "translated" it to a countermarche tie up. Would someone please review it and see if I missed anything. Thanks so much.

Hi Crysalis
On Jane's page it says that this tie-up is for a Rising shed.
so the numbers of the shafts on this page should be tied to the to the lower lams in order for it to rise (you marked X's but it should be O's)
the empty ones on Jane's page should be your upper lams for the shafts to go down. (you marked O's and it should be X's)
I think in your page it is the reverse of what it should be... I think...
But even in your tie-up , the pattern will show on the back side of your weaving..

Thanks so much for responding, Alon. YOU are absolutely right. I got it completely backwards. Thank heavens it'll all work out in the wash. So grateful!
