Dilemma: For this blanket which measures 35 inches on the loom, should I go the full width or decrease be 3 inches? The cards on my loom with the heddles in them measure 32 inches across, my back beam is 35 inches wide and i have a 36 inch 6-dent reed that will fit the beater bar. Wondering if i will have wonky selvedges?
What loom are you working on? I would adjust the width of the blanket so that the warp travels comfortably straight, with a bit of room on each side, right from my warp beam to the cloth beam. This is an easy project to reduce in width and the baby won't notice the difference ;-)
