Hi; I have yet to officially start season 5, but jumped ahead to the canvas weave videos to get some tips on weaving the Lavendar lace scarf kit. I know weaving with linen can be a challenge, as I've also made the Heirloom Towels twice. But I am having problems with keeping the shafts in proper tension. When one is tight enough to keep the warp on the shuttle race (I have an older 4/6 Harrisburg loom) the #4 shaft rises too high, "floating". This creates an uneven surface, especiallly noticeable with the shaft that is used for the floats. I'll send some photos if I can get them to come over. I was able to finish scarf #1 and now on the second one. Thank you for any help!

Sandra, not a stupid question at all 😉. But yes, it’s all threaded through the eyes of the heddles; I’ve been able to complete one scarf on that warp. And I have checked the tie-ups and adjusted and readjusted. Still not consistent. Thank you for your response!
