First queen size blanket!
I wove this in 3 panels and stitched them together.

Thanks Cheryl, it was a challenge. I had to beat the lace areas more gently than the
plainweave areas, which surprised me. I assumed that the columns of plainweave on either side would support the lace areas, but no dice.

Thanks. The blocks that were a solid color went together smoothly. The ones with two colors were trickier, with the two colors twisting at the sides. If I tried to split them up to maintain one thread from each side, it was a mess. I wound up treating the two twisted threads as one. This allowed a bit of a gap from one group to the other, but that mostly closed up once it was washed. This was 8/4 cotton at 10 epi. If it had been a tighter sett, it would likely have been less of an issue, but my daughter liked the 10 epi sample better. There are sooooo many variables in this craft!

What stitch did you use to sew the panels together?
I have used baseball stitch but your joins look different, maybe. I also will try 3 panels instead of 2 on future blankets since the 2 joins look like a design feature instead of a seam up the middle.

When the panels had 2 weft colors, I treated the color pairs on the selvedge as one.
