Page 4: C-1414 (add a 2 between repeats) and A-1212 (add a 4 between repeats).
I have no idea "what add a 2" or "add a 4"means. what is a 2 and a 4?
I have a jack loom.
Thank you.

Wow....you caught an error in the pattern. Thank you for asking. If you look at the threading on page 3 you will see that when I repeated the 5 A's....they were threaded 121214, x4 and when I repeated the C's they were 141412 x4
So page 4 should read
A-1212 (add a 1 and a 4 between repeats)
B-1313
C-1414 (add a 1 and a 2 between repeats)
I do go over this in the video so that's probably why no one has let me know...and folks have just been threading directly from page 3 which is correct, yay!. Great catch. Have you watched the episode yet? I'll get the pdf changed.

Hi,
Season 5 episode 8 at the loom, Jane is weaving repeated A blocks. After each she weaves an extra tabby to catch the float on the reverse side. What shaft is the extra tabby? If I lift anything other than 1, i.e.2-3-4 I get floats on the top side of the cloth.
Because I am weaving a narrower width, my profile threading draft is (from L to R) AAA
BCCCBAAABCCCBAAA. Between the A blocks I have added a thread on shaft 4 and between the C blocks I have added a thread on shaft 2.
Could the problem be in the threading?
Thank you,
Karen

Eureka! The solution to my above Extra Tabby question is this: I weave a line of plain weave - shafts 234, between the A blocks and that satisfies the tied down problem.
