That frame pick in Episode 9 (green arrow) - I can't find any mention of why we need to frame it here in the treadling sequence. Edited to add: The frame pick should be a tabby pick here, no?

Have you gone back in and watched the video again? Jane mentions the frame pick starting at the 25:35 minute mark of 3.9.3 - Playing at the Loom. Hope this helps.

Yes, I am aware of that frame pick as it locks in the horizontal floating weft picks. What I am curious about is why you would have to lock in vertical floats when tabby is in the treadling sequence? (see the green arrow). Thank you.
