Hi ,
I’m enjoying Season 2 and am going to use Parrot colours to weave some towels. I want to make mine wider. If using Fibonacci sequence, do I increase by a percentage to maintain the ratio? For example for 20 ends, I’d make mine 20% wider, so 24. 30 would be 36 etc. Thank you for any advice.
The easiest way for you to increase your sample is to work with the number of threads.... It's already worked out following the Fibonacci ratio so you can quickly change the number of ends in your warp colour sequence - 45 instead of 30, 15 instead of 10 and 120 instead of 80. This makes your towel of 420 ends divided by 18 epi - 23.3" in the reed. The Fibonacci ratio will remain the same but gives you a larger towel. Your towels will need to be longer as well, so you'll need to increase the length of your warp.
Thank you so much for your reply. I appreciate that information.
