Hi there!
I accidentally used the wrong color when making my warp for Stripe-tastic. It’s just 2 ends of Nile where it should be Pale Limette! I’m wondering what is the best way to change these 2 little ends out. Should I put the warp on my loom, then change them as Jane shows when changing a zinger? Or is there another way of changing them before beaming the warp? Thank you!!☺️
Hi Mary, whatever you do, don't try to change the 2 ends before the warp is "under control" on your beam. Your idea of changing the 2 threads with the "zinger" trick is a good one and will make your life a lot easier when weaving this project!
Thanks Sandra, I’m threading the heddles now and see that my warp is “upside down”, I think. My color sequence when warping was holding 4 threads in the order 2 Lemon, 1 Butter, 1 Nile, but they are coming off the lease sticks as 1 Nile, 1 Butter, 2 Lemon. What to do? Move them as we did in Color and Weave, or?
Hi Mary, if your warp is just upside down - I'd live with it. If there is a thread in your grouping of 4 threads that needs to be moved within the group when you are threading - go for it. However, if the whole warp is upside down - just weave it that way and peak underneath every once in a while to see if it's turning out as you expected. That's an easy problem to live with ;-)
