Hello Everyone!
Finally made my warp for the gamp and wound it onto my loom. As I sat down to thread, I realized that I wound my gamp on backwards. The D/L is to the Left of me and the D/L/DD/L is to the right of me. Someone had suggested to continue on and thread backwards, instead of D/L/DD/L, thread from right to left L/DD/L/D. I threaded it accordingly and then as I started to weave, I realized I wouldn't see the design and it would be on the underside. I really want to enjoy seeing the design as I weave so I thought I would rethread but not backwards. Not looking forward to rethreading but I have started to rethread. I'm ok with the D/L being on my left. If I thread this way from the right, Normal, will I see the design as I go but just have the D/L on my left and D/L/DD/L on my right? Hope this makes sense and is helpful to others. I cant be the first one to flip it by accident. ha! I really need to tag the beginning of my warp with a colored thread so i remember which side is which.

I did the same thing! I haven’t finished weaving my 8 yards yet to see how it came out. I’m hoping it’s ok. Logically it seems like it should be just upside down and fine when you turn it over, but we’ll see.
