I am ready to move from 18epi to 12epi. Do I have to change weft threads? It seems an 8/2, woven at 12epi would be very loose/flimsy? Thanks

Good morning, Deborah. I'm assuming that you are asking about the Parrot & Fibonacci sample in episode 5. Near the bottom of page 2 of the draft - Jane describes what we need to do to get the right sett when changing to a more open sett. Enjoy - it's such a fun sample to weave!
"Try changing your sett- open it up. Go through your stash and see if you have any heavier cottons that you can use as weft. If you open to 12 EPI you just need to find a yarn that balances at 12 PPI. That could be boucle, slub yarn, 8/4 cotton, 7 gauge bambu or a heavier linen."
