Hi team,
I'm working on the primaries and secondaries on black and am being taunted by the idea of trying twill as mentioned on the handout and the video. My newbie-ness is showing for sure.....but I would need some instructions. I see that season 4 episode 1 is twill and I started watching it, but jeez louise I just want to have a wee go-at-it and am not quite prepared to go through the whole of the twill episode just yet. Any super simple advice on how to achieve this? A simple tie up and treadling diagram...perhaps one that doesn't require the extra selvedge bit? Do I ask to much? lol... thanks as ever, Leslie
I enjoyed this gamp more than the previous one...maybe I hit the wall...but I played more on this one and really loved the small blocks with log cabin changes...thank you. Not sure how to post/share the finished products. Ready for Season three!
Love to see your photos! The “how to” of posting photos can be found under the Resources button at the top of the page, then go to the Forum button, and the instructions are there.
Loved the stained glass of these. Cried a bit when I realized that I hadn’t threaded my secondary sections L/D so couldn’t do the log cabin. Oh well, that’s next.

Loved this colourful project, but it’s taken me 10 months to finally get everything hemmed and fully finished and posted.
With the last 3+ yards I opened the sett to 14epi and wove with Palette wool in the closest colours I could match to the project . I wove 2 identical panels then stitched together to make a poncho
Lisa, you sure have been busy.. Great job here!

I swapped in the sequences from the color and weave gamp for the alternating sequences. After eeaving the gamp, I played around and made tea towels. These colors make me happy! Must say, the yellow makes for some difficulties
My daughter wanted a colorful blanket for her upcoming baby. I combined the colors from the S2E10 gamp, (rearranged a bit and swapping out black for navy) and the draft from Strickler 246 (with some added borders). It was fun to design and weave, and I can't wait to give it to my daughter and son-in-law at their baby shower next month!
Love the design work. What a lovely reason to weave.
Wha a fun baby blanket !!
