I want to know how David made those beautiful knots on his pieces. If I cut my ends so close everything would come undone. Please find out and share!

Hi Brucie! Those knots… I swear I spent more time on fringes for that episode than actually weaving.. haha. well, the ones that are super short were from the handspun wool, so I did a super tight overhand knot, and then kind of felted them some during the finishing process, rolling each fringe back and forth between my palms. It took quite a while, but it allows you to cut them nice and short because they’re pretty much fused into place by the felting process. The cotton fringes aren’t quite as short, but the knot is as tight as I could get it without giving myself blisters in the process. lol. I did a lot of experimenting as I went, trying different lengths so find the sweet spot for the cotton. Too short and as you would expect, you can just pop the knot open. With both the wool and cotton, I didn’t cut the knots until after the wet finishing process. I hope that helps.

I view at home and print out pdf files on a library printer (I don't own a printer). Today is the first time that I have been unable to see or print the pdf file for latest episode. Viewed the videos. No tab for the pdf. I saw the tab at home for it--but now can't find it to print. It's just gone.
