I am unable to print the PDF for this lesson. I have a MacPro and an HP printer. I receive a file is corrupted message on the printer. This has been happening more recently with other lessons as well. Although I can see the worksheet in my downloads and saved a copy to Books, I prefer a printed copy to work from and scribble on.
I hope you can help as my computer skills are strictly learn as I go.

for the 'scale to fit' and 'print entire page'. This is specifically for Macs.
Are you able to open the files as PDFs?
Annette I am far removed from computer smart! But I do have a Mac and an HP printer. I'm sure this is what you already did, but just in case . On mine I went to the Pdf Square at the bottom of the lesson and double clicked it. It then did the download up in the right hand corner with the little arrow. I then double clicked that .It opened a screen called a preview and I could print from that by Going up to the file menu and clicking print. If this is what you already did forgive me.
I use my grandkids also. I couldn't even figure out the little download arrow!

the printer changes did not work. I opened the adobe site and it looks like I would need to purchase a program. not really sure what I am doing so I will wait until one of my computer savvy grandkids comes to visit. thank you for your assistance.
You shouldn't have to purchase the Adobe program. If it asks and there's a 'skip' option, click that or if there's an X at the top right corner, click it and the PDF should open up.

I am planning to weave this beautiful new to me structure. My question is this: I'm not quite that colorful of a person . Do you have any samples of it with less number of colors or less bright colors?

Hi Nancy,
I am so happy that you are going to try this Cannelé structure. I did not weave samples in other colours, but, if you look at the scarf I wove for the show and tell, you will see that I used only two colours. I threaded the first side in a dark colour (indigo), with supplemental warps in light (steel), and on the second side I used a light colour background (steel) with dark (indigo) supplemental warps. It is a calmer colour combo, and easier to see how the supplemental warps are showing on the face and on the back of the cloth.
You can certainly change the colours to the ones you like, and you can choose as many colours as you want. You will probably want your main colour for the 1-2-1-2-1-2-plain weave cells and have have a contrasting colour for the supplementary warps on shafts 3 and 4. Then for the supplementary wefts you can choose the same colour as the supplementary warps or an entirely different colour.
