Hello weavers,

I’m a complete beginner and have been watching Season 1 and part of Season 2. I’ve worked out how to calculate the number of warp threads I need and I’m about to start my very first warp on the warping board.

I can’t seem to find where or how to join a new colour on the warping board. I’d like to do half of my project in one warp colour and the second half in another colour. Is there a specific method for changing colours on the warping board?

I’ve also watched the first video a few times and am confused about why Jane is using two strands together when warping. Is this something most people do, or is it specific to that project?

I’m sorry for the very basic questions. I inherited a four-shaft table loom and have no experience, but am determined to learn.
