Hi,
I am weaving my second set of towels and on my Baby Wolf the outside warp threads have become loose. I would the rest of the warp (enough for one towel and some waste yarn) onto the cloth beam with paper in between the threads, and I'd like to retie from the back of the loom to tighten up the edges.
My thinking was I would tighten with knots, then roll the warp back onto its beam, then weave off the last towel.
Is there any reason NOT to do this? It's an experiment, at the end of a long warp, and if it doesn't work I can live with it, but the warp was too loose at the far edges (maybe 20 threads at each end) to keep going without fixing it.
Please advise.
Thanks,
Julia
