I would like to organize my stash efficiently. It is growing significantly since I started ordering yarns to use for classes. The cones are bulky and I am running out of space. Keeping similar yarns in boxes, but then I lose track of what is kept where. Help! What is everyone doing?
I keep most of my weaving yarn in a bookcase cabinet with glass doors. I understand--I'm maxing out the available space, too! If you know someone who can do woodworking, you might be able to get them to build you a tree for (vertical) storage. Try doing a google image search for yarn tree storage or yarn cone tree storage.
