I’ve been thinking about trying the mohair shawl or scarf, but I’m struggling to find brushed mohair yarn of a similar weight to the JST yarn. Im based in the UK and don’t have access to purchase the yarns from the website. Any other brits out there got suggestions for alternative yarns I could use which would be appropriate ? Kidsilk mohair seems to be extremely fine and I’m not keen to spend a lot of £ on something if it’s not going to work. For info i don’t think i can get the Harrisville Shetland here either :( .

Hi, sorry I haven't found a source for the mohair in the UK either so will watch your post with interest but you can get Harrisville Shetland from Wonkyweaver.com.
