I'm making a wider project than I've made before on my 32"Schacht. and 10-dent reed. I have five slots empty on each end. As I weave, I'm seeing there is a build-up on both ends, more so on the right side. so that the fell line is rising on the ends. I have to pull the warp threads to spread this out each time. Is there a way to correct this? Thank you.
Have you tried giving the little tug to your weft thread, after you have changed your shed? I find that if I’m weaving something wider than normal, my technique alters as I reach out more. Can you give that a try and let us know if it helps?
