I bought the cotton Bucle Kit Granny Pam. I have left over Bucle and I'd Like to buy the same color cotton but in regular 8/2 instead of Bucle. My thought was to make more towels using regular 8/2 for the warp and the bucle for weft. I think i need to modify the EPI. When I used Bucle for warp I used 12 EPI but If I use the regular 8/2 cotton should I change it to 18 EPI? or something else?

You can! Both 8/2 cotton and boucle work great together. We do have a kit using this combo in plain weave and sett it at 12 epi/ppi just like the boucle kit. But you can increase your sett to 14 for a bit firmer towel, which works great as well. I've done both setts in this combo and was happy with both.
