In my haste to warp my new Spring 2, I forgot to lash on the metal rod, so it is just connected by the 2 Texsolv loops. Unfortunately I have wound on the warp and threaded my heddles. Any ideas on fixing this mistake would be appreciated! The warp is 6 yds long, the Stripetasic from Season 2 lesson 5.

Hi Jeannine!
Been there, done that! I would keep dressing your loom and weave away. When you get near the end and the rods do their final wrapped turned on the back beam, you can put some lashing on. π Just keep an eye when it gets close to the end to catch it.

Thank you! I did put some info into Chat GPT and that also put my mind to ease. The good thing is that I placed the Texsolv loops at 8β from the ends of the 36β metal rod. I think that will help It seems that with each warp I put on I forget something. Itβs a steep learning curve this weaving journey.
