Hello! I purchased the cone holder from your shop (great investment!) and wondered if the 4” Leclerc styrene spools would fit on it’s dowels. I am working through Season 2 of the Guild and have some single color spools of yarn I’d like to warp with two ends at a time. Thank so much!
I just measured one of my spools and its diameter is ¼” whereas yarn tubes are ½”. Your cone holder is perfect for winding a warp with most of our yarns. If you want to wind some off to wind more than one end of a colour - you could use a spool and put the spool in a shoe box suspended by a straight knitting needle, “cooking” chopstick or other rounded stick that is narrower than 1.4”.
