Those are very tight indeed. I sectional warp on my David 3 ... so no warp chains.

For my two table looms, I don't chain the warp off of my warping reel. I place choke ties like usual and tie off my cross...then I drop the warp into a bucket as I slowly unwind from my reel. Works for me.
