I noticed in both of Jane's demos on mohair it is on the LeClerc Fanny and the Wolf Pup, both of which have steel heddles. I just wondered if you can use texlov heddles when weaving with mohair? i.e. on a Jane Loom?
Jane has a Dummy (Pseudo) warp on her Fanny and that Fanny is the one that has had over 1000 mohair blankets woven on her! It was the natural one to use to demonstrate what it does best. Jane wanted to demonstrate weaving with mohair on a small loom and she used the Wolf Pup. Often weavers use Harrisville Shetland (or other wool yarn) as warp and mohair as weft.
I just did a mohair scarf on my Erica and had no issues with the texsolv heddles :)
