I am moving up to a 8 shaft loom! Many of the JST projects are done on a 4 shaft loom. Can these projects be done on an 8 shaft? If so, how? Thank you

Yes of course. Just use the number of shafts that you need and push the empty heddles on the unused shafts to each side and secure them in place with a cord or clip.
