What is the "under - over head light" Jane has on the loom? And Where did she buy it?
My cataracts are causing way too many mistakes..frustrating....really appreciate

I put a self sticking strip light, with a switch, on my David’s castle. Works like a charm - I pretty sure that’s what Jane has on hers. They should be relatively easy to find almost everywhere and the extra light over your warp as you are threading and weaving makes a lot of difference.
If you don’t have a castle, you can get clip on lights and aim the light to your work areas. I have 2 that I use on my 27” Jane that I clip to the beater side supports. These 2 lamps I got at IKEA and shipping was $6. I first got a set when at the store but they always sold out when I wanted more, so I went to their website and ordered without problems. I’ll post a picture of my set I use on the Jane

Those lamps look great. I have been wondering what the best solution is to inadequate light, without shadows on the warp, particularly when weaving in the evening when it is dark. I think I’ll see if I can find them on the IKEA website now. Thanks Barbara. P.S Like Alon, I would also be interested in any further information on how you made/ installed the shuttle race.

I'm curious about the shuttle race you installed on your beater. I still have my Ashford table loom and I managed to do so myself, but the process was very frustrating and I had to do it from scratch for each project.
Yours seem easier. Can you share what you did there?
