I bought this kit before Christmas in anticipation of making them during the holidays. I have a David 70 loom - 27.5" wide. Can I make them if the width in the reed in 26.5"?

It really depends on the width of your reed. I sometimes have to adjust a pattern so that it can comfortably weave something on my table loom ;-) If you take one repeat on each side of the centre out - winding 21 repeats instead of 22 with this pattern - you will gain an inch more space in the reed. Sometimes that's all you need..... BTW - how wide is your reed?
