I am making the Whole Lotta Huggin Blankets and have found a knot in my warp. (Don’t know how I missed it🤬) How would y’all suggest I deal with it. It is not a broken warp thread. I was wondering if I could just run a second thread along with the knotted one for 4-5 inches and just leave the ends hanging. Then when I take it off the loom, I could cut out the knot and already have the replacement thread in. Or would it be better to fix after it is woven? Or another option?
Hi Patti - maybe this article from the Knowledge Base might help - I would use the same method with a knot in a warp thread - https://janestaffordtextiles.com/knowledge-base/fixing-broken-warp-threads/
