I ended up with holes where I changed colors on the left(where it joins) with the double weave wool kit. When I changed to a solid color I did not get the holes. Why did this happen? Is there a special way to tuck tales for double weave? Should I only change colors on th unjoined side?

Sadly that is what happened. I did some repair with the tails to weave them across the holes. Another lesson learned. Looking back at the video I see that is what Jane said to do.
