I am helping a friend put together a second hand Nilus II counterbalance. Can we use texsolv to attach the lams to the treadles?
That would work as long as you can attach the texsolv to where it needs to be. It’s certainly strong enough for the job.
So you would need the anchor pins instead of the Leclerc treadle pin if you were using the texsolv , right?
I don't have access to a Leclerc anymore, so I can't say. You need to be able to hook and unhook the texsolv as you change your tie-up. Not sure what the best type of hook or whatever would work for that loom. Sorry, I can't help with that but maybe someone else can.
