I have just finished watching the Season 5 Turned Twill video and planning to work through the projects as soon as I can clear my large floor loom for the project. Somewhere in either this video or the intro to this video (of course, now I can't find it) Jane mentioned spending time on hem stitching. Her hems are gorgeous and I would love to see how she does them. If there is a video and I'm not finding it can you give me a link? Thanks!
Jane doesn’t go into detail about how she hand hems her tea towels, other than allowing the extra room for a folded hem on her tea towel patterns. She often will change colour when she weaves that section of her towels to give her a nice straight, visible line to work with. The School of Weaving has a lot of information about hemstitching on the loom which is what you need if you are planning a fringe or weaving a sample - something that is going to be gently used.
