Hello!
I have several spools of 16/2 cotton from a few seasons ago. I was thinking of making some huck napkins with this - but I wasn't sure if it would be too fine for the patterns to show. Is 16/2 too fine to use for lace patterns or should I stick with 8/2? I'm just trying to think of lace/huck projects with the yarns I have in my stash.
(totally enjoying this season!!)

They will be wonderful in 16/2 cotton. Lace patterns are beautiful if you keep the fineness of your thread in mind when you create your design. You could sett them at 28 epi if you wanted firmer napkins - check out Jane's Master Sett Chart - https://janestaffordtextiles.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/Master-Sett-Chart-2019.pdf - to get some more ideas.
Thank you for the answer!
