I bought the Spring II 12 harness loom . I’ve found it to be weaker version of the original Spring loom. Louet has stripped the hardware to the bare minimum strength, leaving a machine that needs constant tightening, and adjustment. I own three other looms, thought I’d spring ( no pun intended) for a new one. So sorry I did.
From not receiving key parts of the loom at initial shipment, to following the assembly video which advises at the end of the video that the builder had build errors, and waiting for Louet to provide forgotten parts it has been less than happy experience.
I have given myself plenty of time to adjust to a the loom, (years) and weaving on it is still a chore. My Harrisville, LeClerc and Glimakra all easily outperform the Spring II.
I want to sell it, but will face a financial loss, and don’t want to give another hopeful weaver my headache.
Louet spring II. Buyer Beware
