I am weaving on a 4 shaft counter balance loom. After washing 8/2 cotton plain weave projects there's a little diamond pattern. It's really prominent when I damp dry the fabric. There's a nice bias and my projects drape well.
It’s called tracking and it’s a bonus design you get when weaving PW as a result of the twist that has been put in some yarns during the spinning process. I love it when I see it in my cloth! 😄
