I am getting ready to begin weaving the Ruckle Beach Wrap pattern. Has anyone else woven this pattern and have a photo of the wrap laid out on the loom or when finished? I am trying to understand the instructions “weave your first corner in Goldenrod to square” while looking at the image on the pattern front? Any other hints for weaving this piece would be very appreciated. thanks
Does this help? I love this wrap ;-)
Thank you so much, Sandra and Cheryl. These photos say it all. Now I am ready to move forward.

Are there any particular challenges in warping the full width of 90 cm David 3 for the 36” blanket. 90 cm is 35.4” so I would need to reduce the width by approximately 1 inch that I would take for the center Suede/Natural section. Any precautions? I haven’t woven a full width on my loom.
Hi Elizabeth- I am at exactly the same stage as you i.e weaving a full width piece on my 90cm David III for the first time. I have just finished all the preparations of dressing the loom and am ready to begin....but I expect it to take a while to get the hang of throwing the shuttle through the much wider shed, and wonder how hard it will be to catch the shuttle at the other side where the shuttle race will have more or less ended. Also, much more arm work involved I presume, to manage the full width. How anyone manages the 110cm David I do not know! Any feedback from those 'in the know' would be very welcome!!
I wove my wrap narrower than the draft called for, it’s 26” wide when finished. I probably wove it 30” in reed (not great at taking notes on things that I weave for me ;-) It’s an easy draft to reduce in the centre for the blanket or, you can just add groups of DDL to give you the width of the wrap you want.
