I have a new Spring II which is a dream to weave on. So happy I treated ;myself to this loom.
However, I advanced my warp way too far and am struggling to figure out how to release the cloth beam so I can wind it back.. Any suggestions or pointers would be most appreciated!!
First you have to take some tension out of the warp. To do this, you can release the brake on the back beam slightly, but usually it works fine to just turn the cloth beam backwards a little towards the centre of the loom with one hand. Without tension you can easily unclick the small front pal, then the lower large pal. Wind the cloth back with the brake disk, reinsert the pawls and tension your warp as wanted. Congratulations on your beautiful new loom!
