Hello: I am weaving a Qiviut blanket double weave on my 8 shaft Spring one. Not giving a lot of thought I threaded a Carol Strickler 327-6 Herringbone type pattern - 12345678. 4321. 8765 repeated. Now to tie up treadles and wonder if someone would be kind enough to help me.
When I look at Jane's double weave tie up it is 13, 123578, 135678, etc and I think I would tie these to the lower lams and the ones not used to the top lams. Many thanks if you could set me straight. Thank you Barb
