Anyone experience with a Warping Paddle / Weaving Paddle?

Have searched the internet, but can find very little information. It seems very convenient to me, but would like to know if it really is ;-)

Peggy Osterkamp has a book, Winding a Warp and Using a Paddle.

I found it easier to wind multiple threads (more than 2) with it. I'm not coordinated like Jane who can wind at least 5.
. You do have to pay attention so you do not twist your yarns at the the turns and that they stay in the correct order. And you have to pay attention to make sure your tension on all the threads stay even.

You could see if you can find a used one online. They are not expensive.
