Does anyone else have trouble getting a straight weft line. I am trying to get a nice square or plaid to mirror what I have in my warp, but I keep having trouble with my weft being curvy from one selvage to the other selvage by 1/8" - 1/4. My tension seem nice and even. I have cut one towel off and tensioned my warp at the front bar again and it seems to be good.
hem-stitched and that is all straight measures even from fell line to reed. grrr I'm frustrated
are you sure your beater is straight and hits both sides at the same time? And if that's the case do you hold the beater in the middle and are you sitting in the middle of your loom?
I will re-evaluate all of that!! I think so but I know I shift around a lot but my beater I think so but maybe not sure
Thank you
Are you changing colors on the same selvedge each time? If so you will find that one edge builds up faster than the other..
No my shuttles are on opposite sides two shots one side 2 shots other. My beater is hitting evenly
