I want to weave a waffle weave baby blanket. As my loom weaving width is only 22" I thought I would do it double width. Somewhere I saw how to convert a simple 4 shaft waffle weave to double width. Am assuming 8 shafts. Has anyone done this? Or seen the article I am referring to?

Mm, only because no one has replied and I’m curious and procrastinating …. You might want to checkout weavolution. I did a quick browser search with doubleweave waffle pattern or something like that and the members in Weavolution had a variety of answers.

2 thing that seemed interesting and I might checkout was using Fiberworks to configure the DW and the 2nd, make your weave bigger because it will collapse and shrink much more.
