You could review Season 3, Episode 4 on weft-faced weaving. Those mats are tiny little rugs 😉 and the technique would be similar. Peter Collingwood was a brilliant rug weaver and wrote several excellent books. You would have to do a web search for his books but anyone serious about weaving rugs would learn and be inspired by his books, for example -The Techniques of Rug Weaving. Jane has some of his books in her library…
