My latest purchase is a 32" 8H Gilmore. It doesn't have a tray above the harnesses, so I'm using the bench drawers for everything. I rigged up a clamp lamp temporarily but am looking to see if any of Jane's students have built there own top tray. I have to admit, with all my woodworking skills, I still don't want to bolt to the castle. thinking clamps.

Bob, at Gilmore, builds a castle, but it is not available as an add on (as I understand it). Because the shafts lift out, it is angled so they can still come out. I would be very interested to see if anyone has figured out how to do a workaround. If the top of the castle was removable, that seems like it would work. I would love to have a shelf to stash stuff—neither my Gilmore 40” or Fanny 45” have a castle, and there is no possibility with Miss Fanny!

I was thinking that if there wasn’t an add on castle, that Gilmore would have an add on front tray like the schacht Wolfpup tray.

Gilmore does make one.— a front cloth tray as an add on. Not sure if that is something you’d like. I have one for my wolf pup and I I found it to be helpful.
